The Oxford Hospitals Charity

The Oxford Hospitals Charity used their grant to fund a patient information video for Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) services at Oxford Eye Hospital. It provides health education information and comprehensive advice about their journey with the hospital clinical team. Research shows that videos are more affective in engaging patients on how to approach their conditions and are better at encouraging long term behavioural change than leaflets. Videos can also be a more accessible format than printed materials.
